We offer several differently designed worship services at St. Paul’s.

On Sundays, there are two services. At 8:00 AM, we celebrate Rite I which is a more comtemplative worship in the Episcopal church. There is silence, no music, and older language is spoken. In our contemporary service, we say during communion, “It is right, and a good and joyful thing, always and everywhere to give thanks to you, Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.” During the Rite I service, this same sentence is said, “It is very meet, right, and our bouden duty, that we should at all times, and in all places, give thanks unto thee, O Lord, holy Father, almighty, everlasting God.” There is a beauty to the older language and silence of this service is worth checking out.

Our 10:30 AM service on Sundays is Rite II. It contains the language of today with music, the choir, and a more lightness of spirit.

Every Wednesday we gather at 5:30 PM in the parish hall for a covered-dish supper followed by a short service at 6:15 PM. Our Wednesday night service always includes communion. During this service, we sing to guitar music.

We celebrate the following services on Wednesdays:

  • 1st Wedneday of the month: Healing prayers and communion
  • 2nd and 3rd Wedneday of the month: Evening Prayer and communion
  • 4th Wednesday of the month: Compline and communion

On Thursdays at 9:30 AM, we have Centering Prayer in the Sanctuary. This is a 30 minute gathering of meditation.

St. Paul’s offers services of joy and music (10:30 AM on Sundays and 6:15 PM on Wednesdays), services of quiet (8:00 AM on Sundays), and services of silence (9:30 AM on Thursdays) all with the same spirit of joy and unconditional love.
